How It Works
Complimentary Consultation
Discuss your goals for the project and review design options. At this point, bringing all of your ideas, pictures, and inspiration offers a lot to work with in terms of design and supplies. When meeting with as much information as possible, we are able to make more informed decisions.
During this consultation, we will also determine a realistic budget and timeline. Answer any questions you might have.
Feasibility Study
Agreement to pay for drawings and specifications to make a preliminary budget. (Cost is determined by the size and scope of the project.) Document lot parameters or existing space, and define preparations need for the project. This step of the process also includes meeting any additional contractors.
During this phase, we will also enter measurements and information into CAD to create a set of accurate, scaled drawings that will reflect the existing space. Drawing are 2D and limited 3D but Virtual 3D is also available at an additional cost.
Construction Contract
During this phase, the contract will be determined (fixed price vs. cost plus fee), which will include the total price of the job and deposit and the tentative start and completion dates. This phase also involves refining designs and finalizing selections.
After the contract is signed, the permitting process will begin, and a schedule will be established. Once the permit is secured, a preconstruction walkthrough will be held with the client and inspection with vendors made, as needed. During the preconstruction walkthrough, items needing to be moved, stored, or removed will be noted.
